Windows Vista Help !!!!

well i got a new PC which supports windows vista and DaoC wont play after ive installed it, was wondering if i had to download a patch of the vista website like i had to for msn >.< if so can sum1 post a link to the download patch as i cant seem to find one

vista isn't supported by DAOC (or the other way around whatever) so its a lucky dip if it works or not. If it doesn't you may have to use a dual OS program and boot to XP to play daoc.

Regardless XP is better than vista atm anyway

Try and put the daoc folder directly in the root dir. (ex: c:\<daoc folder>) worked for me. And remember to turn off UAC.

Had no problem with running daoc, but however I would defo say it runs much smooth on xp by far, as regards to installing it just drop it into c: drive not programs says summit like (x86 program files) but i have found i cannot get ventrilo mix to work with vista...

If you're playing US, Vista IS supported. Go to Camelot Herald and look through news posts to find out.

If you have two harddrives, install DAOC on the one where the windows dir isn't on.

I'm playing DAOC Europe on Vista without any problems.. might be some driver problem tho.. Had no ld's at all since i started using new pc with Vista installed..

Skype keep loosing setup tho..
