Windows 2003

Have you guys tried Windows 2003 ? It's total crap in my oppinion. I tried to put CD in the CD-ROM drive but then the computer kinda locked up. So I ejected the CD and then it wasn't locked up. Tried to browse on the Internet, got nothing but errors.

So I installed Windows Xp Pro. again

You know I respect you as a person, but if you'll forgive the impoliteness, this is what you get for using warez. Windows Server 2003 has got some very strong praise from people in the industry as well as from people who I know and trust. I don't doubt for one moment that Microsoft operating systems are extremely expensive, and that they're not always worth it. But to use warez in any form, in my opinion, removes your right to complain about any aspect of that software.

To coin an old phrase, 'you pay for what you get.' Forigive me for being so blunt, I like you, but I don't like warez

Sorry, I was confusing Windows 2003 with Windows Longhorn. They're both crap!

im even less surprised if it's Longhorn as it's in such early stages. Having said that I've been running it at work as my company are MS beta testers for the last 5 weeks and it's been surprisingly stable for an early build, and iirc it's not due out for another 15 months or so.

I hate to say it but the artist formerly known as scooba has a point... never could see any reason to beta test... I wouldn't touch an MS OS until it's been out retail for at least 6months minimum.

maybe the betas are for testing software...so you can make new software compatable for the next gen os out of the box
