Windows 2000pro

I just got Windows 2000pro hoping everything will be ok, everything went fine till I entered the game. It lags like theres 200 people standing infront of me. What can I do?

• Update to service pack 2 (important)
• Upgrade to DirectX 8.1.
• If (and only if) you have a VIA-based motherboard download the latest 4-in-1 drivers.
• Download the latest drivers from your graphics card manufacturer (eg www.nvidia.com).
• Run dxdiag (Start -> Run -> dxdiag) and check that all graphics tests run correctly.

For the record DAoC runs fine on Win2kPro for most people.

I was also going to suggest that if this doesn't seem to fix it, please post as much detail about the hardware specification you are using too, and what did you upgrade to Win2K from?

I use win2k fine...

I downloaded detonator drivers at Nvidia.com and it works fine. Thanks for the help
