Winamp, DAoC and 1.69[Any GOA Official with info?]

Is it me or has there been some secret fix that allows winamp to run smoothly next to DAoC? Since before 1.69 i got a truckload of distortions while playing DAoC next to Winamp and now it runs great......

Me neither, could just be Windows. I always get the feeling that if Windows could talk i'd pull out my speakers to make it shut the hell up about how "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 is the greatest thing since sliced bread" and "you should use Windows Media Player, Why did you untinstall it? Reinstall it or i'll crash!!!"

well.. i never had any problems before 1.69 but now it wont work very well at all. It plays 1 song then a long pause for like 5 mins before it starts next one. between songs i cant do anything with winamp, it just locks.

A friend is having the same problem and i think it is the same reason my bb keeps going ld, as she have the same problem with 2nd client running

Try changing the process priority of winamp to "high", or conversely change DAoC's priority to "low" - When I used to run two clients setting them both as low priority really helped.
