and roughly 10% of the 93 'goths' had self harmed.
not a wide enough study for generalistation. and it was in one city. not enough to generalise the entire population of goths.

Well in all honesty, when you consider the alternatives, I think a Goth would probably be one of the better ways for a child to turn out, I mean who would want a chav/pikey/twat for a son/daughter?

I wouldnt be too happy to know my daughter/son had no aim in life and will sponge for their whole lives, most of the goths I know are actually headed somewhere.

the kids that were in that group described themselves as goths...real goths dont often describe themselves as goths.most teenagers that describe themselves as goth are infact emos hence no suprise to the self harm.
