It has been announce, Nintendo's Wii will cost you around £150 upon its launch. Nintendo has also confirmed plans to ship 6 million Wii units by the end of March 2007.

Yeah!

£150 nice I can justify spending that on a console, though have Ninty mentioned how much the games will be?

No doubt between £40-£50 retail. Seems to be the norm nowadays. Be nice if they were £30-£35 though.

This is how much a console should cost. £400 for a PS3!! I'll be having a Wii :)

What's funny is, is that I was reading Edge the other day and in the retro section.

One thing it said was people complaining that paying £49.99 is rediculous and over inflated for a game.

Where as people payed £59.99 or similar for Street Fighter 2 on the SNES. :p

I used to pay £6 for my specturm games in my local computer shop. And I thought it was steep to pay that much then ;)

Who the hell is buying games for £49.99 when will people learn to buy them from Amazon or play etc and get them £10 cheaper, I still laugh everytime I walk into GAME and see people buying 360 games for £49.99.
