Does anyone know when the next batch of Wii's will be in shops? I heard february?

Will it be the same as before as in first come first serve?

Any pre-order options again?

They are supposed to be coming in now, in dribs and drabs. The xmas hols will have buggered up the smooth flow for a bit though.

I would suggest going to a GAME store 10 mins before opening and hanging about, soon as they open ask the staff. I was told all kinds of utter bullshit on the phone from multiple stores, popped down t'local and queued, guy said they had 9 delivered, took the first 9 names of people waiting - had to come back in an hour to pick 'em up.

I know they are getting them in every other day at the moment and sell out in about 0.00001 seconds from opening.

Well, i was in town on saturday at about 3pm and i went into game to see if they had any and i was very lucky, they had just had a delivery of them and hadn't put them on the shelf, i also had one preordered in game which didn't mean i was guaranteed one. Its on a first come first served basis. And they can get deliveries in at any time of the day so i would say get a job in there and then u get one on the next delivery!

I tired of waiting for a Wii so i got an Xbox360 instead - will probably get a Wii at a later date (probably when the pricewars start for real when the PS3 is released here in europe) but for now im fully satisfied on the console front with my 360 Cracking machine. Just hope it wont die on me ^^

EDIT: Also worth mentioning is that i paid less for the 360 plus 2 nice games, and extra controler than i would have paid for a Wii plus 2 nice games and extra controler set. The pricing here in sweden on the Wii is fucked up though.

I do, gamertag is Gartock Been trying out some instant join GoW matches and got to say (reluctantly) that MS actually know their stuff. Very painless and easy to use online functions.

I was in town not looking for a wii when walking past GAME I thought id have a look at some PC games, heard someone ask if any Wii's in and heard him say 3, bloke took one, then I thought I would have one then someone behind me in queue took one, guess I just dropped lucky, I would say GAME seems to get a batch every so often
