Darkness roils thickly, a velvet canvas of night
The four winds howl as a chill fills the air.
The sound and fury of 10,000 ravens taking flight
Sheer terror draws fetid breath, let all beware.
A complacency has come down over this land
The light shines, confident in its eternal flame.
Banished to childrens nightmares, the terror of the daggers
Oh how quickly is victory declared in the eternal game...
And Yea, does the ancient Arthur shiver and wince
His defenders feel their steel and courage melt
Fear of the day when the Reign in Blood might again commence
And of what it was like to kneel...or be knelt.
Now, with an insipid chuckle, something wicked this way comes
Eyes shine with malice, glinting brighter than Lucifer's halo
Wielder of Sorrow brings back the chill that numbs
Blood falls again like devils rain, drowning both above and below.
How has the dark tide not been stymied, but rather turned?
Fall to your knees, pray to your Gods, Mordeus has returned!
