I have my main char (paladin) and many alts but 1 i been playing recently i have been having so much fun.
its my mercenary,
when i made a /20 merc i knew he would suck with his /20 armour and weapons so i spent 200 gold on him, now 200 gold is not alot but i had many rings, cloaks from my paladin so i gave him some good high lvl gear.
went housing and got some nice weapons and went to domnann, nothing better than seeing a animist with /20armour and no clue how to play the char.
i started off ok but i kinda fumbled follow up styles and what not but after a couple of minutes i learnt my styles. now being a holk hogan i mean half ogre merc specced crush i knew he would hit hard......omg he pwns.
i got jumped by a red inf who had good armour, i turned to evade his pa and he fails to perform. i smack him once for good dmg, use dirty tricks and he misses, follow up with my stun, back style then follow up as he attacks me, he misses and then he dies, whilst im grinning like a cheshire cat another stealther sb i think goes for me who is orange con, once more he misses pa and i pwn him the same way.....i been hit twice so far and they were lame hits.
dirty skald turns up and mezzes, i resist hehehe and get dd'd. dirty tricks has worn off so its me v a blue skald. BANG he is on 1 bub hp, kapow he is no more. i hit with both weapons and they both crit. just as he dies a blue chanter starts to cast so i smack him then whilst he runs my backstyle goes off and he dies...........4 tanks come flying in and kill me,
skald, thane, champ and somin else. whilst im on the floor in a puddle of my own blood someone says...omg you must have magic armour hehehee.
my point is chars like skalds etc are good versatile chars but the merc is so much fun, when i get purge and a bit more in det i will do better but im loving the character, i went in camelot and dueled ppl, so far im on a 3 fights 3 wins score so not too bad.
the styles are really fun yet effective and when im buffed its sick.
anyways i thougt i would give you something to write about so post any chars you played and really liked.....no not including bd's.
oh yeah who was teh merc i grouped with in aegir off fh? grondel or something your char was good too
