Why RvR dying?? GoA plz read, how to save DAOC!

As you all are starting to notic, all the english severs are dying, not as mean people go to rvr these days as well as pve, what GoA going to do about this? as we all want this game to keep on, what you think they should and ideas??

Heres some good idea GOA:

1. This is a must! as most people dont even no there is a DAOC, Make a small 10-20sec clip of Camelot and show on tv, just befor christmas across the Uk and sweden ect to get new players to the game
   
2. remove /level 20 from all severs.
   
3. Let people win free subscription from 1 free day to a week, from quests and other stuff.
   
4. Let people trade trade across severs 2 levels 50's from alb to get one free level 50 on hib, ect
   
5. Give rights for people from level 1-40 get bonus xp to make it 2 times faster to get to level 40
   
6. Take way hib casters stun, it sucks, your dead befor you even get to do anything

If you can think of something better please post

6th options is pure shit.... givf void elds d dmg fire wizz bolts? psst :/ and rvr is not diying, its dead, check /rw, go to visit any alone tower, u will find there a sorc/Scout having fun camping for like 6 hours to get a kill, have fun...

actually, making a promotion video for daoc to be aired on TV in various countries isnt a bad idea.

but it costs too much and i doubt either mythic nor goa would want to spend that kind of money on the rights to send it on TV.

Why should they bother marketing a game that's 5 years old, they didn't do it on release and they sure as hell won't do it when the game is 5+ years old.
Same thing will happen to WHO you won't see 1 clip into a commercial from it and it will have alot smaller playerbase than WoW due to bad(or none excisting) marketing.

I think we'll see a lot more advertising for WAR now that EA is taking over. They probably bought Mythic because of WAR, not DAoC, and will make sure people know about it when it's released. Many people, lots who never even heard of DAoC, know what Warhammer is and will buy that game.

Goa have spent millions on the game to get it as big as it is now, why the game out, it was one of a kind and they did not no, if people would like it, Goa was big to Wow come out, wow is only as big as it is, as they used media to get people to play it, if goa can spend a bit of money to make the game bigger, now its fully working, im sure its better then wasting all the move they have spent on making the game and new addons.

Let the people of Wow, no there is a daoc DOAC and this is a REAL game, not kids game like wow, and im sure many people will leave wow for doac.

Well the 6 ideas, hmmm:

1. I like that one, but it IS expensive
2. Why? People starting at 20, that's a good thing isn't it?
3. Good idea.
4. Shite - New place, new chars. This can be abused by people PL'ing 8/10 chars with people and places they know (such as in PoC'ing or whatever in a realm where they all have familiar realms mates and connections) then getting to swap them for 4 brand spanking new chars. You should have to work at it in the new realm else you might as well have /level 50. If a whole guild did this you could have like an instant new guild of 50's with a number of chars each for flexibility. That insults all the people who have levelled properly on the new realm.
5. /level 20 is silly according to you, but trying to get to 40 quick is fine? These points confuse me, plz explain.
6. That's just a sad and old QQ, I'll swap my stun for a wizzie bolt anyday, stop saying they're so QQ.

And /agree Porkbelly, sell the damn thing in the shops and people might pick it up an be intrigued.

actually a great deal of people left daoc FOR wow because of the amount of childishness in daoc, these people either found themselves nice guilds or moved on to something else

You do know that when Mythic launched DAoC, they had about $0.50 to market the game with? Tbh in MMO terms they did fantastically well on the budget they had available.

And don't worry, I'm sure the EA marketing machine will be in full overdrive for the release of WAR (there's EA games advertised all the time on Sky).

What about the other ideas? It's ok to get to 50 in realm by sacrificing others chars? Dodgy.

All I'm saying is I saw nothing, absolutely nothing no advertisement on TV (never ever seen a DAoC clip on TV) never seen any coverage into major PC game magazines other than HALF a page when the game was released nothing more for any new expansion.
Ofc I'm speaking from my POV as it might be different in the UK or other countries but here in Holland I've never seen anything which is the main reason whenever you bring up the word DAoC people don't know wtf you on about even if they are die-hard gaming fanatics.

I just hope people are right and EA will market it like crazy but I'll stay sceptical untill I'll see the first commercial about WHO..
