Why enven bothering posting raids????????

Well for the last month ive been trying to get a simple Darkspire raid together, its a 1 group raid, so it should be easy to find 8 ppl that would want to come. I got the idea after the last council meeting in the fedaykin alliance, where we were asked to do something to make like better for ppl in alliance. But after a month or so, no raid of mine has ever done it, mostly bcos of ppl not showing up after signing up or ppl cancelling a cpl of hours before planned time.

But all i´m getting out of this is a really bad taste in my mouth, because I feel that the spirit of the realm is like when u are new dont even try to do anything bcos we wont show up. If u dont have 10+ lvl 50 totally templated toons, then ure worth shite and shouldnt try startin up something. bcos how many sign ups are there for dragon raids or the like? Im really getting fed up with this and is very close to leaving the game. Not bcos its a bad game, but bcos of the very poor spirit and comradeship in it!

I really hope some pp, out there are getting red ears over this. Im normally a pretty easy going guy, but this has really gotten me steamed!

I understand your frustation, but nothing that can't be done - for today's darkspire raid. The lag was horrible. I was there online for one signle purpose, I suspected we could have done them bluesky's raid with haste, maybe taken in one hour (as usual). But we got many ld's and the whole raid was delayed. I didn't wan't to leave ppl alone, so I chose to stay to the end, and then to leave.

Have a faith, I (for one) will join you, just keep on posting them raids to darkspire, ppl are interested I am certain. Just keep on doing it and have faith.

Its not like its a fun dungeon once you been there a few times. Probably most people also played on classic and are fed up with it.

You shouldnt lose your good mood just because of this. Its not like people dont wanna join your raids because you lead them, just that you are raiding the wrong thing. You need to find something that appeals to the raiders, or else they wont show up.

However I do agree that it sucks when people sign up and dont show up. But shit happenings IRL and not all is able to tell. Though I think the majority forgot they signed up. If you are looking to start up other fixed raids then my only advise would be to addapt my Signup-Confirmation concept (see then I suggest you try to addapt my Signup-Confirmation concept (see my raid threads).

But thumbs up and dont lose your mood over something like this. Midgard wont hate to loose a potential raidleader

In my humble opinion there are some really nice high utility items worth farming. Namely some bracers, rings and belts. Just use camelot.allakhazam.com and lookup items there. you'll see plenty of great items (btw which some of I've included in my RM template as candidates for Loki's consult feature to pickup, to match the desired stats and features for given char).

I hear you cemi0, when we talk about raids, and why ppl be so picky where to attend to, does it serve their demands and their requirements - one good example is TG. I mostly join there for just fun, the nostalgy, its old zone, and for the first time I was there its been like 3 years - in raids hosted by Tesla. Still in the last TG raid there were only 40 players joining (quite a few were bbs or just afk or clueless)).

Ppl should realise that its not always the criteria whats the personal gain to join the raid in question. Well thats my opinion.

But again, I'm optimistic in nature, I'm sure that you'll get your raid to the
DR aber hosted sooner than you might think

Most people will only join a raid if it guarantees them an item or drops something then can use/sell, the only thing of note in darkspire of any worth and still in demand is rings and bracers. These are farmed often in classic and classic DS takes a good 20 mins longer due to no fop and arti op stuff.

But stick with promoting raids i wouldnt mind going on a few raids there myself, just been in rvr mode a lot after DR pve with a few toons. Darkspire raids are at least more fun that TG raids they truly are the bore after 3 hours. Or even if you want to raid for the sake of raiding there are a lot of encounters needed on toons for the upcoming easy toa patch that im sure a lot of people (those without a summ sm with ml9 pet) would like to get hold of.

Had the same feeling some time back when trying to set up a ML5g-step and with a ML7g-step group. Tryed a few times and felt that it was all uphill and never enough peps, gues I didn't timeed the raid in with other BG raids witch made interst in g-steps lowish, all you can do is beeing persistent or following others when they try making raids. Never realy figured out on how to type an appealing thread. Maby it's all about how thread is composed that make peps join for some fun PvE bashing, I for one try to jin in as many raids as possible but woork keeps me from it due to raid often starts to early.
Never realy bothers me who leads the raid, as long as it's FFA and raid leader doesn't claim all loot. I feel it's unfair rules, and I don't join raid.


Rep.farming Idea if thats the problem#
I'd like some late evening raids on different artifacts that are rarely done and that gif /bg cred, with late I mean starting at 21:00cet or later,dedicated player that need enc would show up. This due to that next patch it's all about enc and scrolls, so if you wan't to make a name as a raid leader this would be a nice way to farm some rep.
Say you make two artis, twize a week and never the same artis two weeks following each other. This way alot of peps will get more encs and your name will be wildly known as the artifact go to guy, theres alot of pve'er out there that would follow you around with a great number of toons. Fast and easy artis that masses could join in on for enc, would take like 1½hour tops as it would be keept as same raid.

if you have say 30peps (and they acctualy bothered to read up on enc before joining)
w1:1 SoK(30min) + EoY(10min)
w1:2 Eternal Plant(20min) + Winged Helm(20min)

w2:1 RoD(10min) + Harpy Feathers Cloak(10min) + Fools Bow(10min) (crazy 3arti night )
w2:2 BoZ(25min) + PH(10min)

w3:1 well at this point you get what I'm looking for, and theres alot of different combination you could go for in each zone.

Hope you arrange a raid that I can attend sometime in the feature, as I'm working on making a SB some time soonish and need some new items for that char.

And about late night raids, im not into those as i have a day job and get up pretty darn early. I will try a cpl of more times to post raids and se what succes they get, if i get the same dam feeling about it, then in the future i wont make any more raids. Just to much hard work done for nothing.

I just wanne do a quick reply here saying thet the TIME SLOT u choose is very important.

Look at thursday.
Normally i would host a ml raid then. This week i dont .
But ull c there is a Dragon Raid Extreme planned, A TG raid and A prestep Raid.
Im sorry to say it but im almost 100% sure the tg raid will fail cause of to less ppl cause that person choose a already bussy timeslot.
In that same case aber, u choose Teusday during blue's bussy raids. U only need 8 ppl, but maybe ppl intresting in the raid may just be on blue's raids. Hence try it on another day/timeslot.

And Cemi. Aber was already doing the confirming thingy
Tho it is something ill assimilate to my own prestep raids ^^.

Oh yes btw, sorry for the angry spittle flying around yesterday, had just been so psyked about finally getting a good grp together, an taking the raid all the way, and then i got so disappointed when it ddnt happen. And then the lagg on top and ppl leaving raid early just made me more steamed... So sorry for breathing fire, im not normally such a angry person...
