The detail for my comp are as follows:

* AMD XP2600+ 2.083GHz 333 MHz bus Socket A (Thoughtbreed) prosessor
* MSI KT4V-L motherboard, Socket A KT400, ATA/133AGP 8x, LAN
* 350W electricity reception thingy :)
* GeForce FX 5200 256MB DDR
* a chip of 512mb DDR ram
* and my HD is a Maxtor IDE ATA-133 30GB (heh) 7200RPM :)

DO I just need more ram? any drivers I should check? is the HD too slow? 3D card?

Anything obvious?
The problem is that I cant run anything more then 600 * 800 without getting yellow triangeles in the readings for my framerate ingame :(
I allso have major lag in the hib SI zone (when Im close to those big trees) even in 600 * 800

Thanks for any help etc. :)

Sounds like motherboard drivers tbh

It's the nvidia driver version number.
Clicky
Edit - when you've updated the graphics drivers, reinstall DirectX afterwards.

also of note (taken from Rightnow search on "video")

Question
With my GeForce FX video card I am currently experiencing graphical corruptions as well as frequent pausing/freezing in Shrouded Isles. What could be wrong?

Answer
Currently the GeForce FX line of video cards is experiencing the above mentioned issues with certain games. We are working closely with Nvidia to have the above issues resolved as soon as possible. One solution that has been known to help is to set the shadows option to "classic shadows" from the game menu options screen. Although the previous solution may help with the above known issues, Shrouded Isles may continue to be unstable with the GeForce FX card at this time. Please check back in the near future for updated details.

also - checking the listed "supported cards" gives this -

Nvidia:

-GeForce 2 Ultra : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-GeForce 2 GTS/Ti/Pro : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-GeForce 2 MX : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-GeForce 3
-GeForce 4 MX : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-GeForce 4

ATI:

-All In Wonder Radeon : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-All In Wonder Radeon 8500
-Radeon 7500 : no reflective water support, classic shadows only
-Radeon 8500
-Radeon 9000
-Radeon 9700 Pro

Matrox:

-Matrox Parhelia
