True, there have been depressingly few great PC games over the years. I suppose designing for console is easier logistically, you know what hardware you have to code for, you have a rough idea of the minimum sales you are take and releasing patches is as easy on a console now as it ever was on a PC. Most people don't really expect to use their PC's for gaming these days either. I don't really know why anyone would invest a large amount of money into PC game programming these days.
PC has iRacing (paid subscription, but really amazing as a sim), rFactor, GTR (2 or Evolution). Other than that, it has all of the console racing games except Gran Turismo and Forza. You have Dirt 2, GRID, NFS: Shit (not a typo). What else do you want? What other games are 'good' that PC doesn't have?
