I woudnt normally promote a product but I bought this as a last resort and it works.....not as silent as they say .... but a big improvement all the same and doesnt impact on temps to much, maybe +2c

But good looking stuff that - I have a PAL8045 with a 3300rpm fan so my machine is quite quiet now and runs 10C coller than it used to.
