BBC News - Clever New Caledonian crows can use three tools

What impressed me was the fact that not only do they use tools but they keep them just in case the job has not been finished, rather than just throwing it away. They also remember where they left the tool if they move away from it.

I, for one, welcome our new avian overlords.

I saw something about crows using tools a while ago on a tv show, everyone goes on and on about how smart parrots and dolphins are but crows and octopuses are possibly smarter, they just don't live as long so can't prove it...also they aren't as attractive so people don't seem to care about them but I've seem dolphins and octopus and I was more enchanted by the tentacled one tbh.
