Whoa! I got flamed on official SWG boards :)

So I'm a BH, I call myself that though my title will say nov XXX to fool the enemy I'm not looking for prestige, I'm looking for a nice spec viable in PvE and PvP.

I go to the boards looking for info on specs etc but most I see is:

Post: "Hows 0,3,4,0 spec for PvP?"

Reply "STFU you SOB dabbler"

So I got annoyed though it made me laugh and I made a post saying nicely that you can't blame people for playing the game as it is designed and if the devs nerfed BH line, you can only blame them not the people taking advantage of the multiskill system.

This is the reply I got :

"ok here is the big picture dabblers use are power attacks (well used to be powerful) and they ran around pvp all the time while us true bh used our skills for marks so while the few true bh worked and grinded for something worth while you dabbles blew it for us . i think the name should be users not dabblers because you care nothing for our profesion. if we get nerfed you guys leave and ruin another class of peeps types like you make me sick you strive to be accepted to a class but you have no heart to go the distance in one. sure say anything you like it changes nothing. you are a lazy person and have no skill to be a bh and you will never get respect from us the tables will turn soon enough. "

Dabbling is all good if you ask me. (with ch its borderline)
Imagine how dull the game was if each and everyone had the same skills. I however also think that each class should have the best moves at the master tier.

We had a BH come onto the smuggler forums and start going on about how pure smugglers should gang up against dabblers becouse were going to get nerfed becouse of the dabblers taking just the dirty fighting line.

he got told to sod of back to the whineing BH forums

It is a term used for someone who picks the best few skills from a multitude of professions with no intention of ever mastering said professions, i.e. a bit of this a bit of that, depending whats good at the time.


I myself see no problem with this but some do (mainly bounty hunters), its how the game was designed although i dont do it myself since im quite attached to the smuggler profession.

It only annoys muppets on the forums, they think (for some rediculous reason which i cannot fathom) that if you are a BH you should be a master BH and not just get a few skills from the tree.

The thing about BH tree is that

1: Investegation line is broken (the actual BH line where you get assigned to go kill NPC targets) Way too many targets are "neutral" and stuck inside a rock etc so you can't attack them. So using 20 mins+ finding your target whom you can only examine makes you feel youre wasting your time.

2: Master BH gives absolutely nothing worthwhile.

So getting MBH is a waste of skillpts and time as the BH design is atm and so common sense makes people use their time and skillpts on something else than getting MBH, naturally.

Still you get these sad wajners, making accusations right and left and basically hijacking every reasonable thread on the BH forums making it hard to find decent info. The BH forum is more whiny than DAoC Excal RvR discussions, believe it or not
