OK so youve fished the best china out from the back of the cupboard, washed all the mummified wood louses and squashed spiders off the plates and decided to throw a dinner party, sadly though you only have 6 chairs

However you do have a small foot rest that you will be occupying ( as you wouldnt dream of asking your friends to coopee below table height on an unsteady pouffee)

So you flick through your bulging address book, you are a very popular person and have every ones number in the whole world...(oh alright then yes youve studied necromancy and can summon the dead for such occassions)

Now who are you going to invite and why?

Terry Pratchett
Billy Connely
Matt Groening

Joan Rivers
Stephen Fry
Jack Nicholson

Why? well it would be one hell of an evening, all the folks i chose i find to be interesting, witty and they seem nice,

go on then you have a go :fluffle:

1. Mr J Iscariot
2. Robin Williams
3. Eddie Izzard
4. Leonardo Da Vinci
5. PJ O'Rourke
6. Jenna Jamesson :wij:

Btw with only six chairs where does the host sit?

Eddie and Robin for the humour. P J O'Rourke for the political satire and general views on America. Da Vinci to see what he thinks of the modern world. Iscariot, was he framed? Lastly Jenna Jamesson, well you gotta do something after the dinner is over.

Not the most intellectually stimulating of evenings. You would probably have to remind him how to use a knife and fork ;)

Still he'd be up for a few drinks.

Okay, my choices, one of which is more than just a little abstract, but I really, really don't care.

Terry Pratchett (Produces the best series of books ever, Discworld)

Brian Clough (A man that is unique and just was amazing)

Chris Barrie (Can teach me the double-Rimmer)

Death from the Discworld (Really, really surreal one there and I don't care he's not a real person. Besides Terry and his Death together would be a real hoot.)

Patrick Stewart (One word, Picard!!)

H.G. Wells (Written some amazing books and one of my all time faves The War of the Worlds)

What a hell of a party that would be

What 3 white guys beating the shit out of an old Arabian Guy ?

Add some "white Power" Chanting in there or maybe some " This is how we deal with violent Terrorist's biznitch!" Screaming and maybe you could add from the side line a " I bet you never knew irony could hurt so bad eh!?"

Just download that Video of rodney King, Grab some popcorn, stick it on repeat and Enjoy. for a plausible and possible Evening thou.

My six best friends in real life (especially the ones whom I seldom get to see).

But if you were to insist, and if interpreters were provided and weapons confiscated, then it'd probably be:

Viggo Mortensen, Paul Bettany
Gaius Julius Caesar, Herodotus
Dawn French, Lenny Henry

I'd have a great time. Not sure about them though!

Al Qaeda isn't a person, it is an organisation.

Unless people think i'm gay, not that there's anything wrong in being one, i'll assume it's self-explanitary.

.....yes it means ladies.
