nice, nice.

ok, gone give some clues.

it`s not gaelic or any cletic language for that matter.

noblok is getting close

it`s Psalm 61 (60 in King James or Douay-Rheims bibles) if you want the translation.

the `uu`s should be read as `W`

for all purpose Frankish is dead, for nearly a millenium.

old east low franconian developed into `Limburgs` and resembles german a bit.

old west low franconian develeped into `Flemish`, `Brabants` and `Hollands`

franconian had all but died out in france by the 11th centuary.

i just found it intresting as it is about the oldest written source than can be found of my language. toghether with :

`hebban olla vogala nestas hagunnan hinase hic enda thu wat unbidan we nu` (the first piece of love poetry in ancient dutch !!!)

`hebben alle vogels nesten begonnen uitgezonderd ik en jij (U), wat wachten we nu (op)` (modern dutch)

`have all birds nests begun except i and you, what wait we now` (ok, i raped the english translation a bit to better show the similarities.

yeah, yeah, i am a freak.

to be honest, it looks like dutch, if it had been old norwegian language (correction to fhadlan, futhark is the lotr spelling, not an oral language), it would have made more sense to me as i just been through this on school, fan or faen as its spelled correctly now, was not even invented back on the 800-1100.. as faen is the name of the devil... i would say an old german, dutch like language
