Who is this NPC called Midar?

Archan and I saw him at the well near CF north entrance.....I think he spawned after Archan killed a few empryeans. Anyway, got a group to try and kill it, but we weren't that organised or it was too uber (Archan nuked it for around 100 dmg only.. and he's light eld) I think it was purple to lvl 49. It hits for around 350 on scale.

Is it part of a quest? or one of those new campaign NPCs.. check www.camelot-europe.com

I never seen him there before...

I have also wondered quite some times. I havent had a group yet when i have seen him, so never got the chance to kill him yet...

Killed him before patches, dropped nothing but a bog of coins.

there is more going on near CF entrance, I was running from CF towards CM when i suddenly meet two strangers running past me (npc called "stranger") and i decided to follow them, i /follow and we stop for a bit near the empyrian "village" near the entrance to CF (not caille). The stranger styops and a text appears ; "The stranger looks around for landmarks that he remembers.." , then they move on towards CF entrance. I stopped following coz i had no more time but i think there is happening something just outside CF somewhere, a castle maybe coming up there? Coz they hang around our mining district aswell (CM)

That has something to do with the event that GOA is setting up. Midar is a normal Mob(normal as in on all servers everywhere).

Well.. looks like these strangers are checking out the 3 realms... one of them checked out our keeps and defenses against invaders in the frontier.. and yep.. they're checking out our mines... and now they're making maps of the terrain ?

Its all very dodgy.. strangers surveying Hibernia.. what do they want?
