LotRO has the best PvE I've ever experienced in any mmorpg and the game engine has lots of potential for awesome PvP.

You just have to ignore the few idiots standing around in town saying what a leetzorz game DAoC used to be & then slagging off the germans for speaking german & then gabbling stuff like PMGZORZ NOOB! ROFLOFL giving both Brits & DAoC a bad name, but still... they'll go away eventually
