Cleric Changes

- The Smite spec Holy Anger line has had its range increased to 1500 and casting time reduced to 3 seconds.

- The Smite baseline stun (Stunning Flash line) has had its range increased to 1350.

Theurgist Changes

- Theurgist elementals can no longer be rooted or mezzed.

- Theurgist Confusing Gust line has had its radius raised to 350.

- Increased range of Theurgist summons to 2000.

Wizard Changes

- Reduced casting time of Burst of Steam line to 2.5 seconds, which matches the Spiritmaster and Enchanter PBAE cast times.

Sorcerer/Cabalist Changes

- Increased value on L48 self shield Nullify Offense to 250

Sorcerer Changes

- Sorcerers can now charm any monster type. This should strengthen their Mind spec considerably, and facilitate better charming in dungeons (where many monsters are undead).

- Added Minion Control to the Sorcerer RA list.

- Increased radius of Fog, Blanket and Cloud of Senility to 350.

- Added a power regen buff to Mind spec list so that all three realms have a version of this spell:

5 Comprehension of Power
15 Perception of Power
26 Perspicuity of Power
36 Cognition of Power
46 Lucidity of Power

- Instead of adding more crowd control to any realm, Sorcerers are getting two new ways of dealing with crowd control.

1) Added a self mez-duration reduction buff to Mind Spec.

16 Shield Mind
27 Harden Mind
35 Steel Mind
45 Invulnerable Mind

2) Added group mez-duration reduction chant to Mind Spec.

29 Solidarity of Mind
39 Unity of Mind
49 Brotherhood of the Mind

Cleric Changes

- Increased the range on the baseline stun to 1350, and decreased the cast time on the spec single target DD to 3 seconds.

- Added 2 new line of buffs in the Enhancement spec track.

1) These spells are 10 minute group cast buffs, which for the duration give the chance to proc a healing effect when hit.

2) These spells are 15 minute self buffs which raise melee damage output.

Friar Changes

Added group targetted heal-over-time spell to Rejuvenation spec track:

Minstrel Changes

- Significantly reduced the cost of offensive shouts to be comparable to other classes.

- Increased stun shout duration to be comparable to other single target stun spells.

- Added new hit point buffer song:

30 Barrier of Sound
40 Shield of Melody
50 Wall of Song

Sorcerer Changes

- Increased Mind Spec AE Mez to 1875 range.

Cabalist Changes

- Life transfers will now transfer up to the listed delve value before healing critical hits from RAs are factored in, and half the amount transferred will be deducted from the caster. The costs have been raised significantly however to bring them closer in cost to major heal spells. If the caster doesn't have enough life to cast the spell at full value, it will still cast successfully, but will reduce the caster to 1 hitpoint.

- Changed Ruby Simulacrum proc to be a ranged spell that can be interrupted.

- Increased melee damage on Sapphire Simulacrum.

- Increased defense on Emerald Simulacrum and the damage on its DoT proc.

- Increased damage on Jade Simulacrum's damage shield self buff.

and the big LOL for me was

MINSTREL CHANGES

- All Minstrels now receive evade III at level 30.

- Minstrels now receive Danger Sense, Distractions, Climb Walls, and Safe Fall I - V by specializing in their Stealth skill. They receive these abilities at the same spec levels that Infiltrators do.

- The Hit Point Buffer song that was added in 1.60b has been changed to a shoutable chant, and reduced the HP values that are absorbed, since offense is no longer sacrificed. This should allow some extra flexibility in the tactics used by Minstrels while chanting this effect.

Aye very true, that ae mez and those wind specs hitting for 550+ per nuke clearly are nothing compared to sm's :eek:

Or ice...

Edit- They kinda fixed earth... now that pets have a much longer range and cannot be mezzed or rooted, earthen tanky pets will be much more useful in RvR - or so I hope

all the stuff above the line has already been implemented in version 1.59.

The rest of the stuff is to be implemented stuff in 1.60b and 1.60d.

Albion has been behind in quite a few classes for some time now(god forbid, albion have a PBAE that casts in 2.5sec on a nonpet class)

Yeah I mean not like mids get a chain stunning pet on their pbae class or hibs get a chain snaring pet... :p

OOO GIVF CHAIN STUNNING SM PET!!!!

Heh - the pets a joke in Rvr - it maxes out at level 44 and boy is it slow - and if it ever does get near an opponent the damage is crap - not sure I've ever seen it chain stun let alone on something hi orange/red con (i.e. a 50 player).

Have you ever actually met an SM in RvR me wonders :)

It's not like their pets can't be mezzed/stunned/rooted. The problem isn't the nuking part, the problem is, no class I can think off can win against 5 nuking pets that you can't pacify in any way. You have these choices:

A) Go for the caster, try to kill him before the nukers kill you. Hard with snare and damage picking you.

B) Go for the pets, try to kill 5 pets before they nuke the living hell out of you, remember that the wonderful run towards them is endorsed by Snare Inc. and you will most likely die while the caster helps his pets finish you off.

C) Run. With snare and five pets following you, you will die. (unless you were as uber as a minstrel and had SOS :p)

D) Convince Mythic that they were making the changes under the influence of alchohol or drugs and take back the patch change.

I think D is the only way you'll survive. The only way you'll kill a theurg is if you have me around though, because I'll nearsight every damn avalonian I see when those patches come. Much rather nerf them sods than nuking the more harmless tanks.
