Which RA3 version goes with Q3 1.17?

I'm thinking of starting to play RA3, but my PC just crashes to death when I fire-up RA3 from windows and I have to pull the plug!

I have RA3 1.0 installed and Q3A 1.17, are these two compatible?

I've checked the RA3 site and they only have RA3 1.0 and RA3 1.4 for download as far as I can see. I know that RA3 1.4 is for Q3A 1.27 but I don't want to go to 1.27 yet.

I'd appreciate any advice.

You are correct in your version numbers Oxfoot, 1.0 goes with 1.17 and 1.4 with 1.27. However, since most of the internet servers have moved to 1.27/1.4, I dont know why you would want to stay with 1.0/1.17 since you cannot play Ra3 with bots.
