Which procs are good for a merc?

I need to proc a full set, 2 wepons and 6 armour, and would like some advice and resoning behind choices also.

It's an mp set so it won't be changed for quite some time, don't want to make any rash choices, so any advice is apreciated.

I'm tempted by a full set of melle heath buffer on the armour, but also like the idea of a full set of DD procs.

Perhaps a DoT procc on your main hand weapon and a dd on your off-hand? That way, you get the best of both worlds.

Melee health buffer all over the armour sounds about right also, or I think that's what most people go for.

Agreed on the armour, but 1 dot 1 haste floats my boat, the amount of times my main hand haste procs is awesome.

Haste on a sabre or bastard sword.

Dot on fast weaps.

i'd be tempted to try get an offhand weapon with a lifetap proc instead of a standard dd.

Ayup, haste on sabre/bastard sword and dot proc on jambiya is very nice. Haven't had enough money to experiment with armour procs yet though...

Yep,i use ebony defiler

i bet it only ever fires when you are on full hits though
just like haste procs firing on the last hit of combat.

Yea, I liked the idea of the self haste proc, I've tried that on a wepon and quite liked it. It seems especially usefull for a merc since haste on one wepon speeds up both wepons attack speed.

However I wouldn't have it again on a main wepon, as a spare maybe, it's kind of fun to use, but 15 seconds is too short. Its rare you get full use of it.

I'm thinking of having self haste as a charge on the bow, 10 minutes of swinging 17% faster is potentially very usefull. Well it's 17% extra damage, too good to pass up imo. I hear it's 40g to recharge the ten shots, so it's not too expensive.

Have any of you considered the AF buff and damage shield, and if so what is your conclusion?

Yes there is,i can't remember name though

If you need haste or damageshield charges buy a crafted bronze dirk (cant think of anything cheaper) and ask a alchemist to put charges on it... works for me

Don't know the exact numbers, but the weapon haste gives a higher speedbonus than the haste charge. Something like 19% vs 14%.
