So what is it gonna be? i personally dont see any reason why not to use 1.29f for the league.

I do. It's a beta. What happens if some glaring exploit comes to light mid-season? Then you've got complete chaos. We're all perfectly happy with 129g so I say stick with it until the new point release comes out of beta. Switching to a beta release gains you little and risks lots.
Plus you've got to consider that most leagues will also be sticking to 129g for the time being. To go against the grain and use the beta will mean people have got to mess about changing versions. Thats not a good thing for league nights - when loads of people can't get on the servers, can't work out why, holding game start times up, moaning in IRC etc...

the latest official version isnt 1.27. All the servers have upgraded to 1.29f and there arent any problems. And the barrysworld servers are laggy as hell and the new point release would probablly fix that cause of the new net code. It sure is fun practising on a server that gives you 900ping every time you use a LG or PG.
