My friend was interested in a game called Horizons... an MMORPG...can't remember the webby, but was interesting...and then there's Planetside, Asherons Call 2, uh...and some space MMORPG from westwood I think.

Horizons isn't for at least another year, probably longer than that, oh and WoW looks pretty cool as well, dunno about AC2, may be worth a look, oh there are too damn many of these games coming out.

Im gonna play DAOC until Dragon Empires me thinks (and Counter Strike <curses cheaters>).

Highly sceptical of SWG, I like the more ye olden day's type of mmorpg.

But I shall wait for all the reviews and check out the forums of each to see either We Hate You Mr Developer or This Game Rocks.

Finally got hold of NWN last night. From the little I was able to play before turning in, it looks VERY nice. Also got hold of some in-game footage of Dragon Empires. Really doesn't look as good as it does in the screenies.

well CS lifes forever but its not RPG at all and can be played in parrallel (that I do sometimes) but cheating in CS sucks big time indeed.
WoW? well I do not like to see anything like EQ and WoW is just new EQ - may be better graphic, enother world but the same sence.
Shadowbane takes online RPG on new lvl - everething can be customised there - your guild can build from scratch a city in everywhere on the map, you need to collect gold/resources to build it and upgrade you can open your city for trade or close it only for your guild members, you can siege cities and destroy them. So its more like online RPG with strategy in costantly changing world - thats the best that one can make of RPG for me the only shortcoming of it is poor graphic (at least judging from the screenshots). Thats why SWG comes in play - it should have exelent PvE content and nice grahpic - at least EQ was fun in PvE and EQ programmers programm also SWG. Now PvE only is not something to attract me in RPG but they promise also PvP and RvR (rebels, empire, Hutt) but again its restricted to 3 factions only ...

Pre-ordered NWN a few days ago, the release date is 28th in Finland though :/ Anyway, will probably keep playing DAoC and as NWN isnt "24/7" game like DAoC, I'll play it with friends from time to time, playing the single player etc, but wont stop playing DAoC either.
