Which games...?

Getting myself 2 new games for the Xbox, I've thought of a few but not sure which to get...

Full Spectrum Warrior
Tenchu 3 (I loved the first one on my PS1)
Thief 3
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Ninja Gaiden
Chronicles of Riddick

Ideally I'd prefer co-op (on the same Xbox/TV) in terms of multiplayer, as I don't have Live... but as far as I'm aware none of these games have that option...?

Beyond good & evil is one of the best games I've played, and its very cheap try it

Thief 3 is meant to have a really bad frame rate so dont get that.
Out of those I have FSW and splinter cell 2. Splinter is good apart from when you get stuck and give up on it

FSW, I havent played it much yet but im enjoying it, get FSW and one of the others at random

I couldn't bare to play the Tenchu demo for longer than 40 seconds. Avoid.

The rest are great.

I'd go with Gaiden and Riddick. I thought PT was too much like SC1.

If you think you can handle Gaiden's difficulty (it is quite hard at times) then get that and Riddick. Riddick is just a great game, if you like games that make you feel like you are in a movie, with great voice acting and excellent graphics, you'll love it.

I haven't got the original Splinter Cell... but it seems a bit like Syphon Filter/MGS, both of which I found great fun. I'm not good enough at console games for a really hard game so Gaiden is out I suppose... Thief 3 has problems on all Xboxs or is it just random?

All Xboxs. Something to do with the way that it was produced on Xbox and PC at once. Both versions suffered but the Xbox more than the PC. If you haven't played SC1 and you're into all the stealth stuff then go for PT, although some of it is only available on Xbox Live, such as the multiplayer.

I'd go for FSW and Riddick.

Pandora Tomorrow supports system link for multiplayer too, so you can play it on things like KAI XLink and XBConnect.

Thanks, well I'll probably get a 3rd game anyway, so... gives more room for choice.

I tried the demo of Ninja Gaiden and thought that the camera was awful and the game not much better, why are the reviews for it so good?

Also stay away from Galleon, screenshots looked good but the demo bored me.

Thats 2 games I wanted before I played them...

A game can't be that bad if all they can find to fault is the amount of gore and skimpy costumes. Personally, I'm not christian so any paganistic symbols and vast level-coating torrents of blood really don't put me off a game.

haha, but it made me laugh. I cant belive they gave it 5/10 because of that

Well I bought FSW and Pandora Tomorrow: first impressions... FSW is ALL AMERICAN!! WE ARE THE BEST GODDAMN PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!!! And incredibly realistic, although I doubt the american soldiers rape 7 year old girls and drop napalm on children in this game. I'm still in the training, americans need a lot of training for a computer game eh :worthy:

Pandora Tomorrow: first mission, I was informed I couldn't kill anyone... erm... thanks. After an hour or so of this boredom, I leave it at a checkpoint and play SC2... come back to it and discover it hasn't actually saved after all... lol... so I have to do that crap all over again. Ninja Gaiden and Tenchu are looking rather appealing at the moment...

Nah I got it for £30 though, not bad for a high street shop, and without the hassle of having to wake up early for a delivery
