My copy of the total experience arrived this morning and I am wondering which Galaxy I should create my character on?

Star Wars Galaxies Server

Tricky because there are many to choose from. I play on Europe-Chimera, because i don't play on any of the others i can't comment on what they're like but i'd say Chimeras a nice one. I'm a member of a friendly guild and i've got a Master Bounty Hunter / Master Rifleman / Master Marksman. The population over here is quite good too. I wouldn't say it's too busy or empty.

Myself I've just started the long journey of becoming a Jedi. If you end up playing on chimera and want a hand getting started just yell. :)

Depends where you go, different servers have large populations in different areas, including space. Sometimes you wont see another player for hours, sometimes you'll arrive at a starport and there are over 100 players hanging out.

Remember it is a very big playing area, i have been grouping for fun at Mos Lowlands and in 4 weeks i dont think i have seen any player more than twice in that time (its always busy with large numbers of full hunting groups out all the time).

I think they all have similar populations, but there are areas that as a new player you wont see for a few days or weeks. It also depends on time zones and nationalities. Farstar has a huge French and German population, they seem to avoid the predominantly English speaking areas.

Yeah, i did think that they would have different popular areas, but from what i gathered through talking to people - Mining Outpost on Dantooine is meant to be one of the more popular sites? On Chimera it's packed, always very busy. Also on Chimera i think the population is mostly English.

Mos Lowlands on Tattoine is popular on Farstar.

Dantooine is quite busy, but sometimes it will be deserted.

Chimera has a lot of Scandinavians, it's just that you don't notice them as they all speak English :)
