Where's everyone at?

I started a Beserker in Mid some time ago.
I'm wondering where everyone is at low levels?
I'm very new to Midgard so be nice (my main is on Alb/Excal).

Can some people give me an easy primer on where to go/start etc?

There are a couple of places to look:

1) Myrkwood Forest

This is a very nice zone for levelling as it has mobs pretty much all the way from 1-20, a couple of well-placed kill-task guards, two towns (Galpen and Gna Faste), all the trainers, vault keeper and crafting facilities (Gna Faste is a good place to look for plater crafters).

2) Aegir's Landing (SI Zone)

I think this exceeds even Myrkwood as a place to level up early on. Mobs from 1-20, more than two full sets of kill-task guards, trainers, vault, all crafting facilities in Aegir and some nice drops & quests.


The other place to look (if you like dungeoneering) is Nisse's Lair in East Svealand. It's Midgard's low level dungeon (mobs from 5-20).

After 20 things generally move to Vendo caverns, though there's good stuff in Muspelheim (my favorite zone) and Munin Sound (SI).

Myrkwood Forest is good 1-20ish, Askheim (the ww fort) is good for groups from roughly 14+. You could leave to go to Vendo Caverns (dungeon) from say 16-17ish.

You will invariably also want to claw your eyes out due to the true stupidity of people after a bit tho

Oh Nisse's lair (dungeon) is good for low lvl groups too, hmm from say 8 or so? Could probably go a little lower depending on your class (seer maybe).

Kill tasks from the guards at Galplen, Gna Faste and vault tower on the road North from Gna Faste will help you ding quicker up to 20 too. After 20 I tend to hit muspelheim rather than Vendo.

Most peeps tend to do their first 5ish levels at the starter town they choose.

Then perhaps move over to Fort Atla/SI areas when they reach about level 6ish.

About level 10ish people can be found in Nisses Caverns and in Gna Faste.

20+ in Musphelhiem and the Vendo Caverns, perhaps even Skona.

Early 30's lurking in Varulvualheim (or however you spell that damn place.. it sounds like a bad case of the warts or something)

Late 30's in vanern swamp and Spindelhalla.

Early 40's Vanern, Spin, Raumarik and Malmo.

Late 40's Much the same as early 40's but more heavily in Malmo.

Then you also have all those areas in SI to play with and good old DF for a bit of fun.

I better print out some maps now, I'm totally unfamiliar with the layout of the land.

Have people moved to SI areas more now?
That's what has pretty much happened in Albion, but maybe only at the higher levels.

I've recently levelled 5 (yes 5 omg I want to cry lol) toons thru 1-24 in the last couple of weeks and Myrk, Vendo, Muspel etc are all still full of people. As mentioned above Aegir's is great for kill tasks (probably easier 3-15 especially for kill tasks) but I found grouping a lot harder. Seemed to be the usual "1 or 2 ppl from same guild with a 50 buffbot in tow" kind of groups...

Ah OK, I don't really know anyone on Pryd/mid, as this is my first try here, so I'll have to depend on my good looks (uh oh ; ).

Your enjoy Midgard it is alittle harder to get use to than the one road that runs through Albion and is alot more intresting.

Which is the reason I need a change from Albion, It's become a bit too well trodden for me now.
