What do people consider the play.com of the book world. Somewhere cheap with free delivery in the UK?

I'm fed up with Amazon.

Amazon do free delivery on orders over £39 now, which is cool as I only ever make an order when I've got a whole bunch of books to get. There is nowhere else that even compares with amazon at the moment though, you're unlikely to get free pnp unless play.com start doing books.

As for highstreet shops, sod that, way too expensive.

I ordered some things from amazon last thursday or friday with the free delivery, it was despatched on saturday and arrived today (monday) so thats pretty cool considering free delivery is meant to be a 3-5 day wait.

Sounds fair enough. I have quite a bit to get, so maybe I'll take advantage of their offer.

I always go to waterstones etc. Found a nice shop in Oxford though called Borders, which has a Starbucks in so that's even better :)
