Where can I get...

One of those little leads that connects the motherboard to the CD-Drives. I mean the audio one, not the IDE cable. I just bought everything (or so I thought) for my new computer. I'm missing just that one little cable! Ok, it's not vital but I like listening to music cd's from my computer.

I'm probably having a hard time finding one because I don't know the right name for it ;)

How about selecting "Enable digital CD audio for this CD-Rom device" in the properties for the drive, it'll basically allow the music to be streamed as data over the IDE cable?

This is what I have, stops the need for cluttering wires to/from the soundcard/cd rom.

Try that, like i said above. Those old wires were for the old decrepit days where you had to use the play/pause/skip track on the front of the CD-Rom drive to playback music. The audio cable is basically like a pass through. As i say, by selecting the above it'll play like data over the IDE cable (perhaps not technically accurate statement, but to that effect anyway)
