You can get Linux from lots of places, i hope you have at least Dual ISDN tho
If not, a good distribution that can run without having to get rid of windows 98 is Slackware's ZipSlack. You can run this distribution of Linux from a zip disk or a directory on your HDD www.slackware.com/zipslack/
The best way to go is to pick up Redhat on CD (about £20) that way you get everything you need (especially X-11 (X-Windows)) and that's what you want really (unless you like command line interfaces like DOS)
