depends.
for 1 solo person 1fg is a zerg.
for 1fg, 2fgs is a zerg.
and everything over 2fg is ALWAYS a zerg.
period.

When you hear a faint rumbling in the distance. ...
The ranger in the group puts his ear to the ground and his facial expression grimaces....
The mages start getting the jitters as they feel the build up of negative energy approaching like the calm before a storm....
A shadow of darkness starts covering the group and the tanks draw their weapons and dig there heals into the ground.
The healers in the group prey to their gods for strength.......
Next thing you know you are face down in the dirt....
In your corner of your eye you see the Albion hoardes moving away howling in victory. The flag bearers moto sticks in your mind:
"We brake for nobody"
Everything goes dark....

A zerg is defined differently where you go and at what time. For example a FG albs in sauvage at morning searching to kill a soloer is a zerg

when the "zerg" is containing numbers that generally isnt required to kill the previously known enemies in that frontier, regardless independent skill/level/RR/guild of the participants.

Imho, 1 fg is *never* a zerg, no matter how you look at it, thats just a group. While it will be rough for any soloer they meet, there should more or less always be enough people to muster 1fg if another realm can.
However other than that it depends on time and place imo, i wouldnt dare to consider 2fg on primetime in emain a zerg, but would obviously do that for 2fg in odins at 4 am.

More than 8 ppl running together is the definition of a zerg ... maximum player's allowed per group, and noway to link group's together ...

2fg is ok at prime time, 3fg is a zerg at all times, 1fg = most fun tho =)
