Why is it offensive that a 30 minute programme to England's best footballers doesn't include any black players? If they were excluded on racist grounds that would, of course, be wrong. But maybe, just perhaps, the people deciding who was best genuinely didn't rate the black players as highly as the white ones included in the programme?
Is it racist if the top ten doesn't include any singles by black or asian artists? Is it racist if my list of favourite five books doesn't include any written by black or asian writers? Is it racist if none of my babe-style desktops include black or asian women?
Utter unadulterated crap.
In any event I would probably agree with the programme makers. There have been some good black players for England - Barnes scored probably the best individual goal by an England player, even if overall he was average for England; Ince, Des Walker, Cyril Regis were all decent players for England but ... the best? Hardly.
Judge the best footballers by their skills, not by the colour of the skin.
