Whats your record for a MP ?
i did use 217 Retryes to get MP chain boots

120 for MP guarded Rapier

Gunnerr took 460+ for Eggy's MP small shield

Cant compete with that shield, but 250+ tries for MP plate arms over the space of a few weeks (hey I was skint back then) before the SC patch arrived.

Only took me 4 months to sell all the 99%s generated from it, but they all sold in the end

Well, considering that I'd already done most of my other items with 2*99% and 2*98%, and had even used a couple of 97% gems, without anything blowing up, you can imagine I was a little surprised when it went b00m with 3*99% and 1*98%. Silly random system...

And after having to trade a pair of Merc Sidi boots to get my MP gauntlets, you can bet I was relieved that it wasn't those that went!

i only use 98% if one of the other is an mp gem.
today a 37/32 mp xbow blew up with 2 99%'s in damn

I found out that if you only imbue 2 gems the other 2 are counted as much lower quality.

So always use 4 imbue spots if you are overcharging.

Hell even put +1 pie and +1 emp on it for all it matters, but fill it up, with 99%.. Much better chance then, for some stupid reason.

Eeeeep.. glad to see that someone have had worse luck than me in MP making.. 250+ retries on chain leggings is my standing record at the moment.

But that one's not the the worst, 150 retries on some gloves, but I usually made a few, then hinged a bit and EACH and EVERY time I hinged to take away the stress from MP making I got atleast one MP hinge. in other words, made gloves, got bored, made hinges and got MPs.. in the end I just cursed and sat constantly at the keyboard watching that green bar go slooooowly up for 40-50 tries...

There should be some sort of medal for doing 837 retries tho

Fastest MP was on first try at Arc Cleaver, started after that Arc Handaxe, second try MP, was best session ever.

Slowest was Arc Dwarven great sword 93 tries.

Slowest 99% weapon, 35 tries on Arc weapon (cant remember wich)

My best was the other day 2 MP angled daggers on consecutive weapons then the third one I tried to make got an MP blade (3 MPs in 8 button presses)

Worst probably over 100 goes for an MP bastard sword

The 'cap' on amount of gold/plat 1 character can carry is/was increased for housing from 1xx plat to 200 plat.

Any screenshot showing 1 mithril is the work of someone with too much time to play with Photoshop

wassnt that the change for maximum amount you could transfer ?

I tought you could always have a mith but couldnt xfr more then 200 ish plat at a time
