We're talking about good A roads. Twisty turny ones that give a good drive. The 316 is a fucking dual carriageway with a speed limit of 40. Not a good road. At all.

You beat me to it. I am in love with the forever quiet bit of bypass that includes the Kingston Bagpuize roundabout, wheeeeeeeeeeeee.

A50 between Stoke and Derby/M1. Basically it means 35 mins to the M1 from Stoke, which is nice, but the main thing is the Stoke to Uttoxeter stretch, which runs for around 10 miles with no police and no cameras (very rare) Ton-up fun all the way.

Don't you believe it bud.
I picked up 6 points and £180 fine on that stretch on a quiet clear dry evening (11:00pm), 97.5mph apparently :/ Lock me up I'm a fucking criminal, I could of had a very serious accident with a hedgehog or a moth or something, *****.
