I'm fucking sick and tired of eating out. Practically every day I work, its lasagne this, egg-fried rice that, caesar salad please, no don't put 3 tons of ice in my drink to make more profit thankyou.

Anyway, you can't beat proper Italian food. Discuss.

Majority of the time I'm at home we eat out and it does get a bit boring after a while but for lunch you can't beat fresh crab claw noodle soup with a freshly pressed glass of sugar cane juice.

It's a long time since I've had a decent Italian though.

When at uni there is the one and only Curry Mile!!!! :D
Also there is an all you can eat Chinese/MSG buffet, complete with jelly and an ice cream machine like in pizza hut :D

Pizza Hut is a nice too, and don't forget subway, or kebabs/pizza from your local takeaway.

Fish'n'Chips !!!
Cheesy Chips?
Tia curries (like fruit in your curry?).
Any Indian curry with Lamb and a nan (with mushroom pilau rice?).
Chinese Curry (school dinner stylee).
Spanish Tapas (garlic stuffed mushrooms & seafood paella...mmmm).
Pub lunch Steak Pie.
Baked Potato with Tuna or Curry.
Hugh mound of Mussels (with some sort of sauce).
Anything Mexican (I just made the hottest chilli ever, yesterday).
Tuperware with homemade sandwiches, a chocolate biscuit and a carton of fruit jiuce?

I sometimes get a hankering for simple things (especially when the weather gets hotter) like one of those Onken yoghurts and some fancy bread from the bakery with tomato, cheese or olives (or something). Either that or a pre-package fruit bowl from M&S.

just to be different, my fav eating out place is actually eating IN at my inlaws.

Sister in Law = fab cook.

Fresh Kheema Rhoti (sp?) straight off the cooker. Bombay potatoes, lamb .... the works.

Not like the crap you get in restaurants - this is genuine home cooked REAL stuff

Anyway, went to Fatty Arbuckles in Stoke-on-Trent for the first time in about ages last week. Service was outstanding (very very polite but not pushy or overbearing) and the sirloin steak was beautiful.

I went to a Fatty Arbuckles in Brighton once. I had onion rings for a starter. They were huge, you could feed four people on them. They were, however, bloody nice.

guinness and scampi fries? that's an unholy union. For me the official Guinness snack is a good packet of cheese and onion crisps.

Guinness and oysters is the traditional 'snack' , but oysters can be too expensive sometimes, which is where the fanny fries come in

LG's Steakhouse, Palm Springs

All they do is steak, and it's a fapping enormous piece of steak - cow has never ever tasted so amazing.

However, I was in a little pub in a small Scottish hotel last weekend and had scotch broth for a starter and steak pie with pastry, veg and chips. Went down great with a pint - one of the best pub lunches in a long time.

Alternatively, the Purple Sage chinese always wins for dinners.
