Whats your average ping if you on a 56k ? Mine is real bad (260+), any quick tips?

i know i got only 56 k too !
a got a little question to u : how many mods,maps and skins do u ve got on ur ut ???
2 weeks ago i reinstalled my ut and only put on the bonuspack and the 4.13 patch and geuss what my pings startet to get below the 200 again while they were before around 300 !

i couldn t remember if it coincides with my reinstallation of ut !

i reinsalled my win a time ago , but i think it wasa before i reinstalled my ut again !
to the question why i can t remember to reinstall my windows i have to say i had to reinstall it to often so i can t remember all my reinstallations of win !

How the hell can u complain about 400 ping's ?

I have a counterstrike screenshot with me having a ping of 4090.

What have you got your NetSpeed set to? When you're online playing UT press F6 and note the net stats. For 56k6 your netspeed should default to 2600. Try fiddling with this value (Press TAB, type Netspeed <value>, where <value>=2600 or whatever)

For 56k6 you shouldn't put netspeed above 4200.

You may find that you put it up your netplay improves, but then if you try a higher value it gets worse.

Experiment!
