What's Wrong wit Team Arena?

I admit I don't play it very often, but when I do I always have a good game. The fps gets mullered in some of the maps but that really is my only complaint about the game itself.
Outside of Team Arena I don't play CTF at all, although a lot of peeps seem to think that's where Q3 is at its best.

On refreshing Gamespy I only get 22 TA servers listed as opposed to the 1000 or so for base Q3.

So whats the problem

It is highly under-rated - i'm not a big fan of some of the terrain maps but some of the original q3 levels with new areas are excellent. I love it!!

Imo TA tries to make it 'pretty', making it a more popular purchase in the high street. The fast but fairly ugly baseq3 has more appeal for the long term.

Epic release free updates to UT.

id borrow a load of gametypes from other mods and games and ask for 20 quid.
