However, albs had just taken bled when it happened. And they had just taken it with ~70 people...

Excalibur Server Shutdown 21:10 CET.

Due to a technical error we had to perform a quick shutdown and reboot of Excalibur this evening. It is caused by a problem that we are aware of and have been working with Mythic on fixing. The cause of the problem is the X Manager process that controls all the communication between players on the server. At the moment this process is not functioning correctly which can lead to very weird and wonderful things being seen in your chat windows.

This problem - while being extremely annoying for the players affected – is in no way harmful and there will be no rollback of the server. There are some comparatively minor side effects such as the loss of realm and bounty points from guilds but player totals will remain unchanged.

At the time of writing Excalibur has just been taken down and should be back up shortly. We apologise for any annoyance caused by this, we try our best to keep occurrences such as these to a minimum.

However, albs had just taken bled when it happened. And they had just taken it with ~70 people...

we took bled BEFORE the server bug / crash / stall / whatver and so had to deal with a claimed keep, meaning higher lvl guards, guardspam on /gu, and orginised defence

mids took berks AFTER the server bug / crash / stall / whatver and so had to deal with what? nothing, i was at eras at the time of the bug / crash / stall / whatever and saw that keeps had NO guards after the bug / crash / stall / whatever.

therefore mids had an easy ride

the server is back online now just remember that not all zones are loaded at the start. DF and dungeons etc tend to come last... that's just how things work.

Kinda bad though.. Guilds has lost Loads of BP´s and Rp´s.

Guards of Avalon lots 1mill RPs (since we new and only just got up into RvR we only had 1.2mill now we have 200k w00t \o/.

Though we went from 5k BP to 8k BP lol

Losing all chat except /s in fits and starts, working a couple min then its not working again. And all keeps now unclaimed again =/
