I'm sadly out of date having mispent my broadband playing games for the last few years.

The last thing I used was kazaa lite but thats now old hat - what do you guys suggest? (preferably with the site to download a non-virused version of it ;P)

Cheers!

Peer to Peer isnt illegal as yet so not against the coc in the same way that dvd writers arent - both can be used for legal and illegal purposes - however the recent supreme court judgement in the states has clouded this holding p2p networks responsible for piracy.

This judgement can only be explained as due to pressure from music/film etc companies - it sets a very odd precedent - would you hold gun manufacturers responsible for all murders?

Luckily courts in the uk arent as easily pressured by money.

Limewire's ok, decent results, but no way (that I can see) of rating files, or warning other users when there's a virus/trojan in a file. Got my first 2 of these off LW tonight.

But precautions taken (as you always should), it's a pretty decent program.
