What's safe to overcharge?

Well, I dinged 1000 SC. Orders haven't been so bad. I have an order scheduled for tomorrow, though, which is mostly 1 and 2 point overcharges.

My question is, what quality gems are safe in that situation? I know for 5.5pt OCs that all 99% Qua gems are a must, but in this situation would I be right in guessing that I can use 'any quality' gems, and the item will not explode?

Very new to this, and I don't want my first out-of-guild customer to end in fire. ;D Thanks if you can help.

Many smaller overcharges (3 maybe 4 at pushing it) will be ok with 98%/99% gems.

SCing full suits on mass is the main problem i had when i first LGMed in the first 2 weeks of the SC patch (everyone wanted 100% gems!!! was a nightmare), only evil thing about SC is u cant really RvR alot or lvl alts easily as ur busy for a large portion of the day, so make sure ur being well compensated otherwise ur losing out!

On MPs i use 3x98 + 1x99 (minimum)
On 99qua i use 2x98+2x99 (minimum)

Works just fine, saves u time and makes it cheaper for the customer.

did 4 x 97% gems on 99% 4 pts overcharge, np aswell - just fyi

I used 95% jewels for MP stuffs cos I got so fucking bored in the end. oO
