What's happenng to respec

i'm getting the feeling that they are gonna remove the respec both the full one they came current players and the single line ones at L20 and L40 is this true?

the full respec, you got if your char was made before the patch which gave the respec, vanishes if you gain more than 2 levels.

I.E

you were 42 and received respec, level to 44, it's gone.

what do you mean? when you logged on to the new patch you have to respec within going up 2 levels, or do you have to respec the points withing 2 levels of when you asked for respec?

its just all these mini moaning that they won't be able to take advantage of the changes to there instrument line, why not just respec after the patch. In a way being behind the yanks meanswe get more time to prepair for new changes and get a chance to read up on how they affect the players ingame.

Also people saying just get respec stone from dragon, yeah how the hell is a L20 gonna get one of those?

Because the majority have already used their full respec? :/

And no, a lvl 20 won't get a respec stone, a) because they have no need, due to getting a single line respec @ 20 and 40, and b) because they're not level 50.

Wirthin 2 levels of your level at the time of the patch. When you ask for a respec it is immediate.

so people thinking at Smite is gonna be good again with the next patch? you can compensate resist alittle with MoM and max out your item adds?

I'm guess the damage listed for spells is the base damage you do to same level stuff with out resists/weaknesses, does higher PIE or Smite level effect this?

Not sure if pie affect damage, It might, might not.

but the next patch, with baseline speed specline smite is going to be alot of fun as a cleric, as you can still heal for 428 and buff 50+ dex/qui and str/con + base buffs.

The US offical site says it does, although i've read that all that is effective is the range of damage, so even though you won't be able to do anymore, you will do more damage as an avarage.

Casting stat (for clerics, pie) affects damage. I'm not sure how large the effect is though. Worth getting +75 pie for power pool regardless.

Bear in mind spirit resists can be quite high, especially when fighting hibs.

Ok, tried it, you had rights. With -4 piety I hit less with 2 hp. With -8 it was 4. But why did they write that line in report?

fyi,

In patch 1.61 you get single line respec stones from Caer Sidi mobs. And realm respec stones from the Summoners in the Summoners Hall.
