What's going on?!?!?

Just started T2 and it did the usual "checking for updates...". It then came up with the message "You version of Tribes2 (0.23115.0.0) is out of date but there are no updates available". I then hit 'continue' but it checks for updates agian and then give me the same message.

WTF?

a fix

create a shortcut to

D:\Dynamix\Tribes2\GameData\Tribes2.exe -online

or where ever your game is installed.

this bypasses all the update stuff and seems to work for me

I tied both at the time. I use:
Tribes2.exe -online -login LOGINNAME PASSWORD

bypasses the login screen

But the auth server was just down last night. When I finally got in there where only a handfull of people playing.
