Planning on making a autotrained infil, but what weap to use ?

Slash = Battler / Malice

or

Thrust = GS/LW

dunno whats best, but i think thrust, LW > battler/malice proc

cuz i think most ppl take malice and battler just for the looks..

dont mistake me it looks good..

Briton Slash (battler+malice)
Saracen Thrust (lw+croc dagger/golden spear)

They're your best choices, I prefer thrust, I don't bother with dragonfang though, I go by the 51weaponspec theory.

Thrust infils are much harder to ToA, but a thrust inf is alot more powerful than a slash inf (More weaponskill, better against other assasins etc, better styles)

From my experience when playing an assassin(which isen't alot :p) it's better to do templates with no mainhand weapon, so you can swap between all you want. When playing a friends ns I swap between gs/heat lw/cold lw, it's nice for what the situation needs. I would hate playing an assassin with an artifact main hand, since 1. They can't swap it, 2. it's only 1 type of damage, if it's slash it's good on sbs/hunters but bad on rangers/ns. Thrust neutral to ns/ranger and resistant vs sb/hunter.

I assume most assasins use Critical Strike Anytime styles, the reactionary and positional styles in thrust have better growth rates.

with malice proc and s/c debuff your target usually has less hp and ws than he has unbuffed, so i think it worth more than hittin your target with the dmg he's vulnerable to
