Is it just me or is deal or no deal one of the weirdest programmes on tv??

I was just making my ultimate sammidge, waiting for Glee to come on so had DorND on in the background and wtf is going on with this show?? One woman started going on about her life story, everyone in the audience started clapping at something noel edmonds said as if it was the most profound observation in the world and people are discussing a strategy against a banker who doesn't exists and appears to talk to them via a fisher price phone.

Can someone explain why this is popular becuase I really just don't get it lol

It's a very compellingly strategic game. I have seen some truly inspired tactics on that game, such as picking boxes based on what your favourite number is; and picking boxes based on the birthdays of your friends and family.

Then once you have finished picking boxes in a way that is definitely not random, you have to make some complicated business negotiations with a ruthless banker who will stop at nothing to take away your hard earned money.

And as another bonus to this already brilliant show, it's hosted by everyone's favourite richard branson lookalike: Noel Edmonds!

Thing that always makes me laugh in deal or no deal is when their friends yell "You can do it!" c'mon its hardly climbing a mountain only using fishing wire is it? its calling out numbers, ive been able to do that for as long as i could speak, hell i could even say animals and colours, and many made up words too

Noel Edmonds was doing TV and Radio a gazillion billion light years (read 2 years) before Branson and lets be honest noone knew who he was until he the 80's when his record shops really took off!!
