What stat is blades based on?

Well when browsing through the forums i have found 2 answers on the question of which weapon is based on which stat..

Blunt str
Blades str or str/dex?
Piercing dex or str/dex?

Now which of those answers are true? Is blades entierly str based or is it str/dex? Str/dex sounds most natural to me but you never know what mythic can come up with .

If the same rules apply in Hib, I believe both blunt and blades are str based. Only the pierce styles are 50% str, 50% dex. But thats just what I've been told.....and as wisely spoken indeed :

dex affects evade, parry and shield
Quick affects the speed you swing your weapon.


dex is partialy responsible for aiming wepons ( peircing , spears etc)

str is partially responsible for thrusting weapons (peircing, spears etc)


str is completely responsible for slash and blunt

I dont think that dex does much for spears a 50 blue dex buff does nothing to my weapon skill ?

AS for blades all STR based

depends on what type of spear i thought, but since i've never used one who am i to know?

I think Classes of Camelot are refering to the spears that the Mid Hunters are using.

(Will not say it for sure tho..)
