I've got close to that; 1.3Ghz Athlon, 512MB RAM, GeForce 4 Ti4200 and Aureal Vortex2, runs fine at 1024x768 high detail.

my #2 PC is a P3 800 with a GF4 MX and it runs BF perfectly at 800x600 - so in theory your spec should be fine

My spec is about the same and it's ok most of the time.

Occasionally though (I think when the carrier is moving) I get seriously bad frame rate drops, almost lock ups lasting 5-10secs. Really annoying but doesn't happen that often.

Played it at Davross' place on a dual p3-500 with a gf4mx (ok it had a load of ram) and it was playable. Needed tweaking tho.

Anything better than that should run it without any problems.

looks a good game but i wont be buying it, finally botherd to download both demos, seen as it would only take 30 minutes, and my max fps must be about 10, if im lucky :( i had all video options set to the minimum, everything i could find to set to the lowest option possible and nothing would change it :(

The game apparently runs fine with a gf1 ddr with a lower end p3 so i wouldnt worry about the spec you've got. Slight paranoia there I think.

Anything over 1ghz with a gf4 isnt exactly going to struggle is it?

The MP demo runs quite happily on my P3-800/512/GF2U @ 1024*768*32 with medium settings. The SP retail however brings the machine to it's knees :(

Difference is you've got the AI code running on the SP demo. MP is less CPU intensive.
