iaculus mobs arent there, only named 1s and they say they are only live on the test server

Sounds like it. You must have the quest though ofc, and have done some of the steps previous before the snake remains are needed.

Are you doing Homecoming for a Hero, Parade for a Paladin or Welcoming for a Warrior Quest? I think its a part of that quest.
