What midgs need to do in my opinion ...

Lately i have read alot of whine treads ... and cluster treads or catacombs treads ... i for one don't think that any of those will change anything on how midg is today ... we need to change ourselfs and our way of looking at this game ...

But the fact that catacombs is nearly here that itself wont change much on midg .. new areas to explore PvE .. new classes .. ofc the warlock is great but that itself wont make it high rr .. as many of u know that takes alot of time and dedication ... The many stories about ppl missing the old frontiers well in sure some vikings miss the days we owned norway sweeden lithuania brittain etc ... but that wont make the time come back ( sadly .. would have been fun ohh well nm) .. denmark is a small country now and so are midg specially in RvR issues ... u have to find other areas of expertice then ... unit so u will be stronger than the soloist .... im sad that mids are redused to a bunch of whiners ... adabt ppl ... maybe its time to look past ur own nose .. i meen fundamentaly ... opted guild grps are great for those that have it .. the rest should prolly concentrate alot more on just making grps cuz as a grp u have better chances of survivel than on ur own ( except sthealthers) but even them come in grps if u like ... and those opted grps out there ..stop being so damn focussed on ur rp harvest .. think of the next middie dont be angry cuz others join the battle and say comments like : u dont leech on others fight etc ....

My opinion atm is that mids are a greedy bunch of ppl with little or non compassion for other midddies ... it goes all the way around ... starting at cm prices .. if u dont use sell it at affordable pricess os others can use it ... and those that by it .. do that only if u can use it and not to sell it for a higher price and goo what a f*****g gimp he sold this and that for only blah blah ... help each other out only way u will se a strong midg again is by uniting and help ur fellow midg to glory and that way urself to glory it that makes u feel better ...
Basically i think it would be great if ppl started to inv others and set up the grps at SF ... BG holders should spam the names so all know who to join .. and the opted grps .. wether u like or not u should be in those bg's aswell ... and frankly i dont care if ur job is only to take out other opted fg's from hib and alb .. that will help all aswell .. and if none of those are there .. givf a bashing hand on a keep/tower door or 2 ..

Stop the whining .. stop concerning u with what the other realms have and .. they got underpopulated realm bonus etc .. aye ofc they do .. they are underpopulated .. they just rox more in RvR than we do atm .. cuz they care and are determind to do so ... and aye they get more rps ... even though u dont get high rr over night

unit all .. all active guilds get into an alliance of an certain sice top 6ish maybe .. the more guilds in alliances the faster the words will spread the faster we can get the numbers required for our defence and frontiers aggression

And aye www.prydwen.se isn't used at all sadly my guild Norsefejd is probably one of the biggest users of it .. even though! its a great job u've done on it Grymli !! and a damn shame no more uses it ... i urge all midg alliance leaders to spam there /as with the info and request for there members to use the forum ..

I agree with you Sigwyen and have already posted a couple of similar suggestions in the thread I started yesterday about who will be here for catacombs - Iposted that before i read this tho or I would have posted more in here.

Imo the most important thing we are missing atm is 2fold - 1) communication and 2) gathering point.

Get those 2 sorted and more ppl will be more active and co-ordinated in RvR

Mids, Albs, Hibs need the same thing: more players, but GoA is giving incentives to mids to leave Prydwen to bigger servers since 1.70, while competing mmogs are getting their share of unhappy players. People is leaving in groups, and we're down to -50% in just 2 weeks. Fact.

Call this anything you want, blame it on whiners or anyone you like, but just stop a second and ask people "why are you leaving ?" - no, it's not just wow or just eq2. Would people leave if rvr was fun, challenging, something to look for ? Opinion.

If you want to revive the realm, that's the focus you need, in my opinion: make rvr fun again. Can rvr be fun again, how it could be fun - considering we're talking about a 500 people server next week, hoping less people will go somewhere else - how can we overcome the massive weakness in both organization and realm levels that midgard is currently showing ?

I'm looking forward to the first RvR bg you're going to lead, if you have some ideas it may be a good chance to try them.

hmm ideas and ideas .. 1 idea though was that allmost every guild runs VT in some way .. would a combined midg VT server be doable .. with all guilds who desires get there own chat grp and a joined RvR chat grp etc .. would ease communication alot ...is that doable .. i have no personal experience in running VT myself ...
