What Magazine?

What mags do you guys read for the up to date info on Techinical issues? I.e CPU's Mobos etc etc and also..

What mag for games? for me there is only 1 PCGAMER

Personally, I find that websites will always be first to provide cutting-edge information and reviews, for all the obvious reasons. Many sites are run by professionals, so the quality of understanding and testing, and their overall level of expertise, easily rival that of many magazines. Websites are also free to undertake in-depth reviews that you will simply never get in magazines, either because of a lack of interest or because of practical factors like page space. Sites like Tom's Hardware, The FiringSquad, Hexus and AnandTech and many more all have good reputations for honest reviews. That's not to say all online features are to be taken as gospel (especially when the site is sponsered by the manufacturer ) but they can be a valuable resource.

As for printed mediums, PC Format has a good balance of games, news, hardware and modding information. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I believe it does provide probably the best balance. T3 is an absolute must for all things cool and gadget-related, and their cover models, if you're not offended by such things, are most beautiful Both of those are published by Future Publishing who also provide many other such magazines. But the market is quite literally huge so there are many alternatives out there, as people will not doubt inform you.
